September Recap & Alexander Robotnick

Since converting my old website into this new blog format I've willfully neglected to keep it updated in the manner I intended. What do the say about hell and good intentions?? Anyway a manic September has just about passed and as it's month on from the epic end to Sunday Best with Metro Area (more to come on that) I thought it'd be a good time to recap on a few things and plug upcoming ventures and events for the fall...

First up I want to throw out a big thanks to fine folks in Berlin, Dublin and London who had me play at some very good parties. Cheers to Maiko, Conny at Scala, DJ Wool, Hugo and Xaver from Supersoul Recordings in Berlin and Todd Terje and the gracious gentlemen in Dublin from the Button Factory. A special thanks to the awesome Simon Riggs at Phonica for having me at his superb monthly at the T-Bar in London. Definitely one of the high-light gigs of the year.

So back to New York.....Prime Time was back on track last weekend with Sinden at LOVE. The NY Times picked up on this edition and you can review their take on the affair here . Solid stuff.

Up next for Prime Time is Italo Disco & Electro legend Alexander Robotnick. The man behind cult dance classic Problèmes d'Amour will be playing a unique DJ set/live show on October 11 at LOVE. This is a co-present with mighty Resident Advisor. Full details below...

My Wurst 12" is almost sold out. Whoop! The reception to the edits from Optimo, The Glimmers, Rub n' Tug and others has been heart warming. Get it at Phonica - or Turntablelab.

And finally here's a nice little video which captured the magic of the last Sunday Best with Metro Area....
